I thought you might like to know about a lecture I'm giving next Wednesday (May 7th) at Joseph Hall in Salem's Maritime National Park. I'll be discussing my work and recent trips as well as showing photos of the Friendship of Salem, Alaska, The America's Cup, Key West Regatta, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and various sailboats, schooners and tall ships. I'll also be giving a few photo tips for shooting on the water and what to bring for photo gear when traveling. Joseph Hall is at 160 Derby Street in Salem next to the Custom House. It will be a nice night for a walk, so the best bet for parking is the South Harbor Parking Garage on the corner of Derby St. and Congress St. I'll start babbling at 7PM and will try to keep talking until 9PM. (Whew) There will be some light refreshments and snacks. You don't have to RSVP but it would be nice to know if you are going to drop by. This lecture is being sponsored by Salem's Maritime National Park and The Schooner Fame. Hope to see you next week. Ciao, Leighton
