Charles Dickens: Public Passion

In the 1850s-60s, author Charles Dickens enjoyed a second career in England and America as a public reader and actor of his novels.  Salem's Erik Rodenhiser, known for his portrayal of Scrooge in Mr. Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, shall recreate those acclaimed evenings, bringing Dickens to life. Dickens will read from his popular works, such as the ever-thrilling "Sikes and Nancy" episode from OLIVER TWIST, and an excerpt from the beloved A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
