Portrait Drawing Workshop with Instructor Daniel Ferrin

Salem Arts to Host Portrait Drawing Workshop

On Wednesday evening, Feb. 24, the Salem Arts Association will be hosting a free lecture & workshop on portrait drawing at the Salem Arts Center, 179 Essex St., Salem. The workshop will be led by Daniel Ferrin.

Mr. Ferrin spent his working career in technical illustration and industrial photography. He also taught drawing at the Art Institute of Boston for fifteen years. He now has more opportunity to draw what he likes, and that often means portraits.

The event will be 6:30pm-8:30pm, and is limited to twelve people. Attendees should bring their own supplies: drawing pad, pencils, and erasers.
