CLOSING Reception: There and Here: Works by John Wathne - Becoming: Transformative Journeys - September 8, 6:00-8:00 PM

Salem Arts Association is also proud to present a special solo exhibition by Salem artist John Wathne. Wathne's works interpret a wide variety of subjects featuring on urban and rural landscapes. These works capture the viewer with fantastic depth and illumination. 

Special Closing Reception:  Friday, September 8, 2023, 6:00-8:00PM

Our artist, John Whatne, has generously offered to donate proceeds from sales during the closing reception to Salem Arts Association as a unique fundraising event. 

This Closing Reception will feature original music by Christine Baze

This will also be a great opportunity ot explore our other exhibits

PLUS Summer Member Showcase

The mythical hero’s journey is a tale of an ordinary person who goes on an adventure, meets their mentor, endures life-changing trials, learns an important lesson, transforms, and returns a hero. What is your transformative journey? This exhibition features artwork that is inspired by artists' transformative journeys and acts of becoming.
