Call for Wearable Art: Salem Arts Festival Fashion Show

Salem Arts will be participating in the Salem Arts Festival's 6th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser on April 26 at the Hawthorne Hotel. 

Submission Criteria: This opportunity is open to current Salem Arts member artists who may submit wearable art work/fashion.  We are looking for complete "looks" but there might be the opportunity to show "separates" such as jewelry and hats.  Creativity is (ALWAYS) a plus! 

THEME

The theme of the exhibit and runway fundraiser will be ROOTS. Work that adheres to your interpretation of this theme will have priority consideration. 

This exhibit will be juried. 

All work, even if it is not accepted in the fashion show, will be eligible for display in our Roots exhibit (May 10-May 26, 2019) in Old Town Hall.

Submission Form: Please download the gallery submission form and provide all required information requested, and follow instructions on the form. In addition you will need to provide us with a detailed description of your wearable art proposal, a list of items, and photos that illustrate the concept of the work you are submitting.

Fashion Show: Friday, April 26, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. at the Hawthorne Hotel

Roots Exhibit Drop Off:  Sunday May 5, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Old Town Hall

Roots Exhibition Dates: May 10 - 26, at Old Town Hall 

Gallery Hours: every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.
